Duo improbabile is a crossover project that transfigures all different backgrounds (classical, rock, jazz, and fusion, modern and avantgarde) through the virtuoso playing of the players, while Virginia Guastella's pencil absorbed and generated new ideas, giving them appropriate musical shapes.

The combination and the heterogeneous professional experiences of the two performers and improvisers are fertile ground for a strong aesthetical empathy.

Duo Improbabile performed at major festivals: Ferrara Musica, Voll - Damm Jazz Festival, Bologna Jazz Festival, among others.

"Slancio moderato" ("Moderate Rush") is their first album.
